On March 31/2017 Detective David Clark of the Waterloo Regional Police Service shared with us the many ways that our businesses or our personal affairs can be compromised.  Some of the processes include:

• mass media frauds
• business email scams
• identity theft
• ATM skimming

How can we protect ourselves and our businesses?

• Call a company if you want to use their services
• Do not give credit card information over the phone
• Protect your foundation documents (such as passports and birth certificate)

We have to be vigilant in today’s internet world.
